Bronze Plain is Canadian Agri-Blend's basic trace mineral salt block for livestock. It supplies salt along with zinc, manganese, copper, iron, iodine and cobalt, trace minerals that forage alone doesn't always provide.

It contains no added selenium. As a free-choice block made with Agri-Blend's Agri-Blok process, it has a texture and hardness livestock readily accept and stands up to weather in normal conditions.

Care information

Feeding Guidelines

Place the block in a covered mineral feeder or mineral box accessible to all livestock. Position near water sources to encourage regular use. Animals will self-regulate their intake based on individual nutritional needs.

  • One 20kg block services approximately 10–15 head of cattle
  • Cattle in late gestation, lactation, or under drought stress may consume more — this is normal
  • For horses, place in a location accessible at all times in the paddock or stall
  • Monitor consumption and replace blocks before they run out to maintain consistent mineral intake

Storage

Store in a cool, dry location. While blocks are weather-resistant, storing under shelter will extend product life and reduce excessive dissolving from prolonged rain exposure. A covered mineral feeder is recommended for outdoor use.

Important Notes

  • Always ensure fresh, clean water is available alongside mineral supplementation.
  • Trace mineralized salt blocks are a supplement, not a complete mineral program — consult your veterinarian or nutritionist if you suspect specific deficiencies.
  • Do not place blocks directly on the ground where they can absorb soil contamination.
