• Compatible hardware: Manufacturer lists Sentinel Tread-In posts, Pigtail Tread-In posts, and Equine Range insulators.

Ideal For

Equine paddocks, pasture divisions, and managed grazing layouts using an appropriately designed electric fence system. Select the energizer, fence layout, and hardware to suit your animals and site conditions.

Use suitable rope insulators, connectors, and posts. Follow the energizer and fencing manufacturers' installation instructions, including grounding requirements. Disconnect power before working on the fence. Inspect for damaged rope, loose connections, and vegetation contacting the fence, and test fence voltage regularly with a suitable fence tester.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Polirope the same as solid steel fence wire?

No. It is a woven rope containing stainless steel conductors, rather than a single solid metal wire.

Does the rope generate electricity?

No. It carries the pulse from a compatible electric fence energizer as part of a correctly installed fence system.

Which posts and insulators does Patriot recommend?

Patriot lists Sentinel Tread-In or Pigtail Tread-In posts and Equine Range insulators for this Polirope.

Are the listed dimensions shipping dimensions?

No. The length and diameter describe the rope. Spool and carton dimensions must be measured separately.
