Equest Agri-Blok 15% is Canadian Agri-Blend's nutritionally balanced protein tub for horses, fed free-choice with no additional salt required. Mature horses typically take in about 500 to 1,000 grams a day.

All of its protein comes from natural sources, with no non-protein nitrogen. It also contains yeast culture, a full spectrum of B vitamins plus biotin, and extra molasses, along with calcium, phosphorus, trace minerals and vitamins A, D and E. Like all Agri-Blok products, it's weather resistant.

Feeding Guidelines

Equest Agri-Blok is a free-choice, self-fed supplement. Place the tub in a dry, accessible location in the paddock or pasture where all horses can reach it. Horses will self-regulate their intake based on their individual nutritional needs.

  • Average consumption: approximately 100–200g per horse per day under normal conditions
  • Working horses, broodmares, and growing stock may consume more — this is normal
  • During drought or when forage quality is poor, intake will naturally increase — monitor and add tubs as needed
  • For herds, provide one tub per 8–10 horses to ensure all animals have adequate access

Storage

Tubs are weather-resistant and suitable for outdoor use. Storing under shelter or in a run-in shed will extend product life and reduce softening from prolonged rain exposure. Keep lid on when not in use.

  • Always ensure fresh, clean water is available — protein supplementation increases water intake.
  • Not a complete feed — use alongside forage, hay, or pasture as part of a balanced diet.
