$109.95 CAD

Care information

How to Use the EarthWay 2750

  1. Fill the nylon bag with your seed, fertilizer, or granular material (max 25 lbs / 11 kg)
  2. Select the appropriate setting rate on the spreader dial for your material type
  3. Tighten the crank handle securely
  4. Begin walking at a steady pace and crank the handle to start spreading
  5. Adjust crank speed to increase or decrease the spread width and distribution rate
  6. Stop cranking to pause spreading — the shut-off plate stops material flow

Tips for Best Results

  • Walk at a consistent pace for even coverage
  • For fine seeds like clover or grass, use a lower setting rate and slower crank speed
  • Overlap each pass slightly to avoid gaps in coverage
  • Spread on a calm day to minimize wind drift of fine materials

Care & Storage

  • Empty and rinse the bag after each use, especially after spreading fertilizer or ice melt
  • Allow the bag to dry fully before storing to prevent mildew
  • Store in a dry location away from direct sunlight
  • Inspect the shut-off plate and agitator mechanism seasonally for wear or buildup

Warranty

The EarthWay 2750 is covered by a 1-year limited warranty for all EarthWay products. Contact EarthWay or Purity Feed for warranty service.

Why the EarthWay 2750?

Walk-behind spreaders are great for wide-open lawns, but when you’re working between raised beds, along a fence line, or on a hillside that would challenge a wheeled unit, the 2750 becomes your best tool on the property. Its rocking agitator means even clover and fine grass seed flows smoothly instead of jamming up mid-row. Slip it over your shoulder and cover ground that bigger spreaders simply can’t reach — then hang it in the shed when you’re done.
