Partial Sun - 3-6 hours of direct sunlight per day
Partial Shade - 3-6 hours of indirect sunlight per day
Full Sun - at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day
Full Shade - less than 3 hours of direct sunlight per day
It all depends on what you are planting! Most vegetable gardens fair better when planted after the last frost of the spring season, bur garden prep can start as early as the previous fall. If you are unsure, come speak to our friendly garden centre staff or check out our Gardening Tips blog.
