Straw bales are made up of the compacted stems of a cereal crop following harvest.  Generally packaged/baled in 45-pound bales they are suitable for many things including:

• garden mulch
• animal and livestock bedding
• erosion control
• home construction 
• compost
• Hallowe'en decorations/Fall decor
